Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the University of California San Francisco Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and support to families of critically ill children with complex congenital heart disease.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children with complex congenital heart disease
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless care transitions
- Provide education and support to families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care
- Master's degree in Nursing with a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specialization
- Minimum one year of experience in pediatric cardiac ICU or pediatric critical care
- Current national certification from an accepted certifying agency
- California driver's license (CDL) if required for position
- Three years of experience as an NP in pediatric cardiac ICU
