About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Commercial Lines Inside Underwriter/Broker to join our team at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (AJG). As a key member of our underwriting team, you'll play a critical role in evaluating and managing risk for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate individual insurance applications to determine coverage for property and casualty risks, adhering to established guidelines.
  2. Conduct thorough assessments of properties, considering factors such as value, location, usage, and safety features, to inform underwriting decisions.
  3. Collaborate with field representatives to gather information and defend underwriting decisions.
  4. Support Underwriter Seniors in servicing and managing accounts, providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office is also essential.

We're looking for individuals with strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a detail-oriented approach.
