About the Role: As an Auto Claims Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing and processing auto and transportation claims. Your efforts will contribute to our mission of making a positive impact on the lives of our clients and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage auto property damage and minor injury claims, ensuring thorough documentation and accurate coding in accordance with policy guidelines.
  • Develop actionable plans to meet state-mandated deadlines and facilitate timely resolution of claims.
  • Identify subrogation opportunities and manage salvage processes effectively.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding claim progress with insured parties, clients, and agents as necessary.
  • Foster and uphold professional relationships with clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive coverage, liability, and damage assessments for all assigned claims.

Additional Duties:

  • Assist with other tasks as assigned.
  • Support the organization's quality initiatives.
  • Travel as required for the role.

Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred. Candidates must secure and maintain state adjusting licenses as required.

Experience: A minimum of three years in personal or commercial property claims management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is necessary. Familiarity with construction fundamentals and property estimating software is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Understanding of personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements.
  • Ability to assess property damage estimates and negotiate claims effectively.
  • Knowledge of total loss processing and relevant state requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Commitment to meeting service expectations.
