Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Services: Take x-rays of designated parts of the human body for diagnostic purposes and provide support for the imaging department.
  • Patient Care: Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding, provide educational material, and transport patients to and from clinical areas.
  • Radiation Safety: Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to prevent patient exposure to unnecessary radiation.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is properly functioning and report any potential problems or malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Department Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of a radiology certification program.
  • Experience: No experience required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA) and ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire.
Work Environment

This is a part-time day shift position with a scheduled weekly hours of 24.
