Job Summary

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our culinary team, overseeing food production, and ensuring exceptional quality and presentation of all dishes. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and supervise subordinate associates to maintain labor standards and adequate staffing levels.
  • Oversee all cooking operations, including methods, portioning, and garnishing.
  • Assist in planning meals and developing menus that meet the needs of our guests.
  • Requisition food and equipment, ensuring specifications, quantities, and quality meet our standards.
  • Maintain health and sanitation standards, adhering to Federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Plan and control departmental budget, achieving budgeted revenues and expenses.
  • Contribute to guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional products and services.
  • Develop short- and long-term financial and operational plans for the restaurant.
  • Train and develop Sous Chefs to manage department budgets, schedules, and supervise line cooks, prep cooks, and stewards.
  • Interview, hire, and train employees, determining pay increases, conducting performance reviews, and recommending promotions or terminations.
Requirements
  • Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
  • Hearing, writing, typing.
  • Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
  • High school education and relevant training and experience required.
  • Ability to timely obtain required licenses or certificates.
  • CPR training required; first aid training preferred.
