Job Summary

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. You will work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures and deliver accurate results in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized nuclear medicine procedures to produce high-quality images
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills
  • Execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives
  • Ensure the privacy of each patient's protected health information (PHI)

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of an educational program in Nuclear Medicine accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology or the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • NMT-California Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
  • Preferred: Ideal candidate also holds CA CRT to assist with X-Ray studies

Work Environment:

This position may regularly work, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drug(s) identified as hazardous, or potentially hazardous, by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for purposes of USP 800.

This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
