About the Role

The Information Security Management Program Team (ISRMP) at State Street Corporation is seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst AVP to enhance its team in the GCS application security assessment process. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the risk posture of the application is compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

As an Information Security Analyst AVP, you will be responsible for:
  • Reviewing ISRMP submissions for compliance with organizational standards
  • Identifying control gaps and updating the appropriate issue database
  • Generating weekly and monthly reports related to ISRMP status and delays
  • Analyzing ISRMP reports to understand control gaps and issues
  • Tracking ISRMP mitigation efforts to ensure ISRMP requirements are met
  • Supporting key stakeholders through the ISRMP process
  • Communicating delays, issues, and details associated with ISRMP within the review process
  • Validating remediation activities as documented by the business to achieve proper application compliance and risk mitigations
  • Distributing monthly publications for Global Cyber Security management on ISRMP status of issues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Robust knowledge and understanding of technology and security risks and IT general controls, NIST R4 Framework
  • Strong time management skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior knowledge of ServiceNow tool and process a plus
  • Experience working in the financial industry preferred
  • Experience working in Information technology/information Security is preferred
  • Experience in using Service Now, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Archer, and SharePoint a plus

Education and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
  • B.S. or equivalent with over 15-20 years of experience, of which 5+ years of experience relevant to Governance, Risk, and Compliance
  • 5+ years of experience working in Information Security or general IT areas related to risk management, controls assurance, compliance programs, cybersecurity, and information security industry standards
  • Experience in interacting with various multi-disciplinary teams of professionals
  • Effectively communicate with peers and management and obtain additional evidence where applicable
  • Build strong relationships with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to drive risk excellence
