About the Role

The Senior Vice President of Information Security provides strategic leadership and oversight to State Street's global information security program. This role is responsible for developing and implementing information security strategies that align with the company's business objectives and risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement information security strategies that align with business objectives and risk appetite.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to the global information security team.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify and mitigate information security risks.
  • Develop and maintain information security policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide thought leadership on information security trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • At least 15 years of progressive cybersecurity experience with 8+ years within financial services.
  • 6+ years of operationally focused cybersecurity practitioner.
  • 5+ years' experience working with business leadership across enterprise projects.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal across all levels of the organization.
  • Able to acquire, motivate, and attain top talent through networking and relationships while building talent pipelines.
  • Experience working directly with financial regulators through exam engagements.
  • Ability to manage matrix team environments both direct and indirect reporting lines onsite and remotely.
  • Demonstrate strategic and tactical thinking, along with decision-making skills and business acumen.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Assurance, or related technical field.
  • CISSP Required
  • AWS or Azure Cloud certification preferable but not required.
  • CISM, CRISC, and/or CISA preferable, but not required.
