About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer Java Full Stack- AVP to join our team. As a key member of our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), you will play a vital role in driving the company's digital transformation and expanding business capabilities using industry best practices and advanced technologies such as cloud, artificial intelligence, and robotics process automation. Key Responsibilities * Write application UI and backend code * Develop reusable components * Consult with technical team, SQA, and business analysts on aspects of functional specifications * Identify and resolve application issues and bugs * Produce quality code within a reasonable timeline * Participate in design review and code review * Provide assessments of task duration, complexity, progress, and risk to team leads * Software configuration and build management * Design, develop, and implement Unit and Scenario testing for new functionality under development * Provide system documentation Requirements * Bachelor's degree * Minimum of 8 years of professional software experience * Advanced development experience with REACT JavaScript * Advanced development experience with JAVA development * Advanced experience with Oracle DB and SQL * Experience in Java, J2EE, Servlet, and JDBC * Experience with API development * Experience with Spring Framework and REST Web Services * Experience with code repositories and code management (Git, SVN, etc.) Additional Requirements * Experience with Agile * Experience with MQ * Experience with Snowflake * Cloud-based development experience * Experience in the Financial Asset Custody Services Industry Why This Role is Important to Us Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients.
