The Activity Director will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and implementation of engaging activities for our clients, under the direction of the Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise engagement staff members and volunteers to ensure a high-quality experience for our clients.
  • Work closely with the Administration to support, plan, coordinate, and implement client engagement in various activities.
  • Ensure required staff and materials are available and prepared for events or activities.
  • Evaluate the success of each activity, event, or outing and identify opportunities for improvement in the future.
  • Develop and maintain accounting records for assigned programs, events, and activities.
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure discount opportunities for our clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors used in events, activities, and discount programs for our clients.
  • Provide clients, staff, and families with resources related to scheduled events and activities.
  • Ensure all activities conform to federal, state, and local accreditation and licensing agencies or organizations.
Requirements:
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including dogs and cats.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
