About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Irrigation Water Manager to join our team at Gothic Landscape, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our campus irrigation and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot flow and water usage of 1000+ stations and multiple controller systems.
  • Water Alert Response: Respond to water alerts, mobilize resources to address interruptions in supply, deliver, and all major and minor breaks.
  • Site Inspections: Perform daily site field inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaboration and Team Management: Collaborate with Site Manager and site horticulturalists and arborists to identify opportunities to drive water management use to meet seasonally and beat historical and meet budgeted expectations.
  • Water Management Strategies: Develop advanced knowledge of drought management strategies and implement effective solutions.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of up to 3 personnel to perform established preventative maintenance programs of all field irrigation components.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Track water use, PMI repairs, and other data metrics, propose system upgrades, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Client Meetings and Coordination: Coordinate and lead client meetings with new construction and on-going irrigation projects.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate WeatherTrak and Baseline Systems knowledge, with WeatherTrak training and Water Manager Program Certification highly preferred.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish and English is helpful, but not required.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Computer Proficiency: Computer proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required.
