By providing insightful financial analysis and cultivating strong partnerships, CFP&A is pivotal in promoting the foundation's financial effectiveness and supporting its strategic goals.

Your Role

As a Senior FP&A Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in connecting data analysis with financial modeling.

This role is crucial for facilitating ambitious growth initiatives by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data sources, as well as creating comprehensive reports, models, and forecasts tailored for an executive audience.

Your proficiency in financial analysis, strategic planning, and data management will be key in driving the vision and transformation necessary for long-term success.

You will oversee the design and development of information products, which includes gathering requirements, designing, developing, conducting user acceptance testing, and delivering final products.

Additionally, you will implement operational processes, including financial data reconciliation, report maintenance, and various ad-hoc data analyses.

As a lead for data and reporting, you will collaborate with partner teams to ensure that projects meet their intended scope and deliver business value within established timelines.

- Engage with users to understand challenges and document requirements.
- Represent the voice of the customer to technical teams in developing reporting products.
- Ensure deliverables align with business needs and participate in prioritization efforts.
- Provide prompt customer support to resolve issues.
- Foster an inclusive culture through behavior modeling and timely addressing of partner concerns.

Ensure Data Consistency:
- Investigate and verify the accuracy and consistency of data sources across the organization (e.g., headcount, cost per trip).
- Identify and resolve data, system, and reporting issues that affect financial models and decision-making.
- Collaborate with other Operations and Program Divisions to understand and source vendor and system data.
- Supervise internal data requirements, ownership, vendor involvement, and project progress.
- Align with partners to integrate findings and reporting into existing and future processes.
- Develop and implement internal financial instrumentation for operating expenses.

Maintain a comprehensive financial knowledge base, including reports, dashboards, models, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

Review financial outcomes and provide executive-level recommendations for cost reduction and optimization.
Support advanced financial planning and offer project management assistance for OpEx data initiatives.
Serve as the primary source of CFPA/CFO knowledge and insights.
Continuously monitor the financial health of the organization, focusing on leading indicator metrics.
Establish a regular schedule for data availability while maintaining a roadmap for future developments.
Act as the Single Point of Contact and Subject Matter Expert for reporting and back-office needs within CFPA.
Collaborate with Data Reporting and Analytics (DRA) to ensure coordination and prevent duplication.
- Develop and assess sophisticated financial models and forecasts.
- Optimize financial forecasts with a focus on impact rather than ownership.
- Conduct financial modeling to inform staffing decisions (build vs. buy analysis).
- Optimize operational expenditures to ensure effective resource utilization.
- Contribute to the development of goals, guidelines, and norms regarding OpEx spending to achieve organizational targets.

Enhance organizational reporting and visualizations for leadership to aid in decision-making related to operating expense targets in partnership with Enterprise Business Management.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis or a similar capacity.
- Experience in developing data visualization tools and delivering executive-level presentations using Power BI, PowerPoint, or similar platforms.
