About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team, specifically supporting People Experience and Technology (PXT). As a key finance partner, you will work closely with the PXT leadership team to provide strategic finance support, month-end reporting, and financial forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with PXT LT to provide financial support and analysis
  • Design, develop, and maintain metrics, reports, and dashboards to drive business decisions
  • Deliver quarterly estimates, annual operating plans, and 3-year forecasts
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders and cross-functional FP&A teams
  • Complete cost-benefit analyses and communicate key drivers and inputs to support business decisions

About the Team

Our team enjoys a unique vantage point into everything happening within Amazon. We provide strategic support to the SVP of PXT, her leadership team, and senior leadership on enterprise-wide planning, analysis, and reporting.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience
  • 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
  • 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
  • 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
  • MBA, or CPA
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools and other financial systems

The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
