We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Planner to join our team at the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for defining, planning, and scoping projects that drive campus modifications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop project scoping, budgeting, and scheduling in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Oversee feasibility studies to ensure projects align with the university's mission and vision.
- Utilize project management information software to track and document projects.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with the university's Master Plan and Campus Guidelines.
- Coordinate regular campus partner meetings to facilitate planning for current and future projects.
- Lead detailed project programming, including minor space planning and test fits.
- Monitor and report project details to ensure successful planning and handoff to the project management team.
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Strong understanding of analytical, technical, or professional disciplines.
- Preferred: Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
