Tissue Implant Program Coordinator Job Summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tissue Implant Program Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operational team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our tissue implant program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a Lead RN and first point of contact for the Department and related operational matters.
  • Assist managers and physicians with any related needs with oversight from the managers.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing and adherence to appropriate guidelines.
  • Create training programs and ensure competencies of each clinician through site checks and touchpoints.
  • Update weekly staffing matrix and communicate any coverage issues with appropriate Practice Managers.
  • Communicate with the Team regarding any changes or updates in the department and enforce departmental workflows, policies, and procedures.
  • Act as a resource for the Managers and Administrator, preparing reports, staff feedback, policy input, and creation, and rounding to each office periodically.
  • Lead the interview and hiring process for all new Clinicians with oversight from the Managers.
  • Collaborate with appropriate Trainers to ensure training materials are up to date with current policies and procedures following any operational or clinical changes.
  • Conduct quarterly site visits to oversee office compliance and engage staff.
  • Manage office supply ordering, inventory oversight, and management.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the work state (required)
  • Current CPR/BLS (required)
  • Bachelors Degree (preferred)
  • 2 years of experience in an related specialized practice (preferred)
