We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Employee Benefits Team at Alera Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for retaining existing accounts, providing exceptional service, and building relationships with clients to help them achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Build relationships with employers to understand their benefits package and provide guidance on administration.
- Conduct employee meetings to educate on benefit decisions, utilization of plans, and consumerism.
- Act as a compliance resource to clients, providing guidance and education on compliance issues and regulations affecting their employee benefit plans.
- Review customer forms, enrollment applications, and master applications for accuracy and completeness.
- Partner with the account team to provide unified service to clients.
- Proactively manage renewals, aligning actions to client goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate and complete client data in the client relationship management database.
- Adhere to service models and timelines to maintain profitable business while delighting the client.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with carriers and a clear understanding of their products and services.
- Represent Alera Group at social functions in the community, promoting the company in a professional manner.
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience in financial services or benefit services.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, document activities clearly, and communicate complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to calculate figures, solve problems, and interpret instructions.
