Job Overview

Aircraft Parts Inventory Control Clerks are a vital link in the supply chain between FLT Academy Maintenance and our suppliers and vendors. As an Inventory Supply Chain Specialist, you will build and foster relationships with suppliers and vendors, digitally track and maintain parts inventories, research part numbers, and issue parts orders as requested by maintainers.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Parts Inventory Management: Daily control of parts inventory, monitoring minimum parts inventory, and reordering items that are considered consumable and that FLT maintains a continuous inventory of.
  2. Ordering and Tracking: Research part numbers for ordering accuracy, track and order items requested by aircraft mechanics, and inventory parts into FLT Academy's inventory system.
  3. Reviews and Audits: Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance, conducts bi-annual physical inventory count, and files warranty cards as necessary.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, 1-year aircraft illustrated parts manual experience preferred.
  2. Technical Skills: High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word and Excel and Access.
  3. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate clearly and concisely, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  4. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, frequently bend, twist, lift, and practice safe lifting methods.

Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position, 35-40 hours per week, with a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, paid time off, paid federal holidays, and a matching 401(k) program.
