Maintenance Technician Role at Heavenly Comfort AFC

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Heavenly Comfort AFC. This is a full-time position responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine Maintenance Tasks
  • Inspect systems and infrastructure to identify necessary repairs or replacements
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, implementing effective solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and preventive measures
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize downtime
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all maintenance activities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a preventive maintenance program
  • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, ordering new materials as needed
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations
  • Train and guide junior maintenance staff in best practices and safety protocols
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Proficient with hand and power tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina and dexterity for lifting heavy objects and performing manual labor
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends if required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Estimated Salary: $30-$40 per hour. Compensation details: 20-40 Hourly Wage.
