Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Direct and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective delivery of housekeeping services.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas of the hotel meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the satisfaction of the guest.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to housekeeping staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties to the highest standard.
  • Operations Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with other departments, including front office, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff, knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling requirements.
  • Language: Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
