  • The EHS Manager is tasked with overseeing all facets of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management to align with corporate and operational objectives.
  • This role involves implementing EHS programs and protocols aimed at achieving safety and accident prevention goals, ensuring compliance with EHS regulations, and promoting resource conservation. The manager will also oversee training initiatives, corrective action strategies, and resource conservation efforts.
  • Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in health and safety management or a related discipline, a minimum of 8 years of progressive EHS experience, practical safety management experience in an industrial setting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and familiarity with standardization, continuous improvement, and project management.
  • The EHS Manager will report to a senior leader responsible for manufacturing or operations within the business segment.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee EHS reporting and management systems.
  • Promote the integration of EHS principles across various functional areas.
  • Foster a culture of excellence in safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Support EHS considerations for contractors performing work on-site.
