Role Summary

The Process Analyzer Specialist is tasked with executing intricate application engineering support activities to assess and validate analyzers, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and guaranteeing the operational integrity and longevity of systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct manufacturing evaluations of Process and Natural Gas Gas Chromatographs (GCs). Possess the capability to diagnose system challenges of both electrical and analytical dimensions. Responsible for hardware testing, comprehending GC applications, and utilizing chromatography software.
  • Assess and validate analyzer applications by scrutinizing specifications for precision, blending gases, rectifying electronic and mechanical issues, programming and testing the system's controller, and inspecting valve functionalities.
  • Perform tests on analyzers within an environmental chamber, adapt test fixtures for chamber compatibility, install analyzers in the chamber, execute computer programs for analyzer testing, and provide data to the Quality department.
  • Ensure all documentation is compiled for the customer's print package and is precise, alerting to specification modifications, contributing to shipping timelines, and logging issues and failures for Quality reporting.
  • Responsibilities may evolve over time, and additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Experience in Process GC manufacturing testing is essential. A robust analytical, electronics, and mechanical foundation is necessary, along with a background in chemistry related to analytical applications.
  • A technical degree and/or 3-5 years of experience in testing and comprehending Process Gas GC applications is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
  • Exposure to fumes, gases, and chemicals is part of the role.
