Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all menu offerings, including takeout and catering options.
  • Ensure that guests have all necessary items at their tables following food delivery.
  • Verify that guests receive appropriate utensils, napkins, and sharing plates when serving food.
  • Keep the kitchen and service areas clean and well-organized.
  • Ensure that utensils and steak knives are polished and readily available.
  • Support servers, bartenders, and management by assisting with the transportation of plates.
  • Engage with guests and co-workers in a polite and effective manner.
  • Relay food orders to the kitchen staff, paying close attention to priorities and special requests (such as dietary restrictions).
  • Maintain composure and efficiency in high-pressure situations.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by assisting fellow team members.

Requirements:

  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Follow directives from supervisors.
  • Report to work in the designated uniform.
  • Present a well-groomed appearance that aligns with the restaurant's image.
  • Punctually meet personal scheduling commitments.

  • Lift and carry up to 30 lbs. using food or beverage trays or necessary equipment.
  • Safely navigate slick and uneven surfaces while transporting items.
  • Efficiently carry multiple plates from the kitchen to the dining area.
  • Move safely throughout all areas of the restaurant.
  • Frequently bend, stoop, reach, lift, carry, and clean as needed.
