Assembly and Testing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Assembly Technician to join our team at EPOC Enviro. As a key member of our manufacturing operation, you will be responsible for assembling and testing containerized water treatment plant units, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Testing: Assemble units according to design drawings and work instructions, including assembly, pipe fitting, and machining as required.
- Electrical and Mechanical Systems: Assemble electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring all components are properly connected and functioning as intended.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair complex machinery and systems, using your technical expertise to identify and resolve issues.
- Quality Control: Test and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance, and collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement activities, identifying opportunities to enhance our manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them develop their skills.
- Education: Associate's degree in mechatronics, mechanical/electrical engineering technology, or electronics engineering preferred.
- Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in advanced technical assembly, with a strong background in PLC systems and electrical circuit design.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of PLC systems, experience with SLC 500 and VFD systems, and proficiency with common electrical testing tools and hand/power tools.
- Personal Qualities: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
