Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team at PeopleShare Inc. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating mechanical components, ensuring high-quality products that meet our company's standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Fabrication: Prepare chassis frames for mounting and attaching sweeper bodies, run, connect, and test fluid and hydraulic lines, build and install electrical lumens, harnesses, and lighting, install couplings, fittings, and brackets to marry sweeper bodies and chassis, and test sweepers to ensure finished products meet Bucher specifications.
  • Maintenance and Shop Floor Management: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring all shop tools are in good working condition.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals, and communicate effectively with supervisors and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly and fabrication.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Electrical wiring and troubleshooting knowledge, truck chassis modification and assembly, ability to work independently, ability to take direction and meet deadlines, ability to think outside the box and be creative to meet goals and objectives, software design knowledge, and working knowledge of shop tools.
  • Personal Qualities: Verbal and written communication skills, welding and fabrication experience, and ability to obtain a passport.
