Construction Management Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Construction Management Intern to join our team at Harkins Builders. As a Construction Management Intern, you will assist our experienced construction managers in coordinating and executing construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry and develop your skills in project management, communication, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating construction activities
• Review and understand shop drawings and submittals
• Attend subcontractor meetings and track job progress
• Maintain site logs, daily reports, transmittals, RFI logs, submittal logs, etc.
• Ensure compliance with the Company's safety program and Quality Control Program
• Notify the site manager or superintendent of any changes or problems
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
• Coursework towards a bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering
• Basic organizational, leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Familiarity with construction management software and Microsoft Office

Compensation
The base salary range is $20/hr.
