Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement retail marketing strategies to ensure local relevancy and cohesiveness with our brand DNA.
  • Act as the primary marketing contact for all global retail requests, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Lead monthly retailer marketing calls, creating agendas and recaps to ensure effective communication.
  • Partner with directors of Marketing and Digital to build paid media strategies with our retail partners.

  • Partner with sales and VM on fixture briefs, ensuring effective in-store displays and promotions.
  • Lead the strategy for product review seedings of core and newness, driving brand awareness and sales.
  • Partner with Product Marketing on quarterly business recaps, reviewing a mix of business and product performance.
  • Own wholesale strategy for all new product launches, including in-store activity, cast member engagement, email exposure, and more.
  • Lead retailer PR seeding and events, ensuring effective brand exposure and awareness.
  • Partner with PR (in-house + external) to track and share wholesale press exposure with retailers.
  • Partner with influencers on retail-specific UGC asks, driving brand awareness and sales.
  • Partner with education to secure retailer training and masterclass opportunities, enhancing brand knowledge and expertise.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback and insights from the Field to drive brand awareness and optimize eventing (or event programs).
  • Liaise with field and lead bi-weekly TBs to ensure ongoing flow of communication between field and corporate.
  • Own all marketing presentations to field for new launches, ensuring effective communication and high-quality results.
  • Partner with field directors on store takeovers, brand partnerships, and on-off special events, driving brand awareness and sales.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of retail marketing experience executing marketing campaigns with national beauty retailers for a personal care products brand (e.g. beauty, wellness, CPG), preferably with a d2c brand.
  • Strong understanding of the beauty industry, including trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Dynamic storyteller and communicator, able to effectively convey brand messaging and value proposition.
  • Experience managing specialty retailers internationally, with a proven track record of success.
  • Effective people management skills to lead, develop, and mentor direct report(s).
  • Ability to travel occasionally for retailer/company meetings, as needed.
