Job Summary

The Night Shift Medical Technologist plays a vital role in the accurate and timely performance of laboratory tests. This position is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of laboratory results, as well as providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Provide quality control guidance and support to colleagues
  • Participate in the maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment
  • Collect and process specimens for testing
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely test results
Requirements
  • NCA Certified Lab Specialist, or Medical Lab Scientist, or Certified Lab Assistant, or Clinical Laboratory Technologist, or Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or Medical Technologist must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
  • Prior experience in the hospital setting is preferred
