Electronics Engineering Technician

Lockheed Martin's SOF GLSS Team is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineering Technician to join our team in Fayetteville, NC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing classified electronics technician duties, supporting multiple Special Operations groups, and working with a wide range of tailored logistics, maintenance, and sustainment services.
Key Responsibilities:- Surface mount assembly and rework of printed circuit boards down to 0201 size components under microscope
- Experience performing EOS testing on electronic components and assemblies
- Testing and troubleshooting systems with use of TMDE to include: Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, and Digital Multi-meters
- Building multi-wire cable harnesses to include developing an ICD (Interface Control Document) and verification testing
- Use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio to develop system block diagrams, BOM (Bill of Materials) generation, flow charts, testing, and acceptance criteria documents
- Experience with retrofitting and updating old architecture with new technology to continue product lifespan
- Schematic capture and PCB development with Altium Designer
- Experience with using 3D printers and CNC machines for modifying existing products and new product development
- Conduct test and evaluation of audio, video, tracking, or other surveillance systems
- Integrate electric components in support of rapid prototyping requirements
- This position typically requires 10 years of professional experience
