Currier Plastics, Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to enhance our operational efficiency and uphold product excellence. This pivotal role is essential in bolstering our production capabilities and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.


The Manufacturing Process Engineer will focus on evaluating production workflows, pinpointing opportunities for enhancement, crafting and executing solutions, and overseeing process metrics to guarantee ongoing advancement.

This position will also involve collaboration with various teams to address quality challenges and enact corrective measures.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze manufacturing workflows to discover potential improvements.

2. Design and implement enhancements to boost productivity, minimize waste, and elevate product quality.

3. Track process metrics and initiate corrective actions when necessary.

4. Work alongside cross-functional teams to tackle quality challenges and execute corrective measures.

5. Engage in new product development initiatives to ensure manufacturability and quality standards.

6. Conduct root cause investigations and apply corrective actions for quality concerns.

7. Develop and maintain documentation related to manufacturing processes, including standard operating procedures and work instructions.

8. Aid in the formulation and execution of quality control strategies and protocols.

9. Contribute to the overall quality management framework.

10. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in manufacturing and quality engineering.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related discipline.

2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable role, ideally within a manufacturing context.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

4. Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality improvement tools, such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.

5. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including injection molding and assembly techniques.

6. Experience with quality management systems and methodologies, such as ISO 9001 and FMEA.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

8. Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team setting.

9. Keen attention to detail and precision.

10. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and MS Office suite.

11. Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles is advantageous.
