Diesel Truck Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Truck Technician to join our team at Enterprise Mobility Inc. As a Diesel Truck Technician, you will be responsible for performing car and bus service, repair, preventive maintenance, and in-fleeting service according to company policy and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all warranty and mechanical repairs are completed according to manufacturer's specifications and guidelines.
- Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs.
- Perform routine and annual DOT required repairs and inspections.
- Read and interpret diagnostic test results using dials, gauges, and computer equipment.
- Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other vehicle parts.
- Perform routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts.
- Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and parts used during the repair.
- Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
- Utilize multiple manufacturers' websites, software, and diagnostic tools.
- May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation, or buy-backs.
- Participate in company and manufacturer-approved training or other industry-related training.
- Maintain a safe, clean work area and comply with all uniform and equipment standards.
- Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).
- Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English.
- Must be able to complete PUC and pre-employment drug test and provide copies of necessary certifications.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Two years of mechanical experience in a diesel repair shop servicing current model vehicles required.
- Must have own standard hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance on current vehicles.
- 4+ current and valid ASE certifications required or must obtain at least 4 of the GP-approved ASEs for the Diesel Tech role within 9 months of start date.
- Class 4 license or ability to obtain to operate vehicles with a GVWR greater than 18K.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs when performing maintenance or repairs.
- Must be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) flexible schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
