As a Diesel Mechanic/Technician I, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of equipment, including trucks and trailers. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced technician who is able to work independently and as part of a team. If you have a strong background in diesel mechanics and are looking for a challenging and rewarding career, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and equipment
- Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals
- Collaborate with other technicians and maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
- 6 years of experience in diesel mechanics and maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
- ASE certification and 608/609 certifications preferred
- Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
