Job Overview

Position: Credit Quality Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $30.22 hourly, paid weekly.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Work Environment: Fully onsite – This role requires presence in the office five days a week.

Role Summary:

  • Act as the primary liaison for inquiries related to the management of substantial corporate credits associated with the Global Credit loan trading desk.
  • Support Global Market Loan Operations in executing settlements and services for secondary loan trade closures pertaining to corporate investor clients.
  • Deliver exceptional client service while managing relationships between internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Investigate and resolve intricate discrepancies, which may involve reviewing credit agreements and performing manual calculations to verify accuracy.
  • Oversee various processes and provide guidance to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Facilitate training sessions for team members on operational processes, business policies, and procedures.
  • Occasionally lead projects or implement new processes as required.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of credit documentation (e.g., Credit Agreement) to conduct thorough reviews for precise settlement and servicing.
  • Manage end-to-end processing of loans with accurate data entry into various credit and operational systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate loan documentation to ensure accurate trade settlements.
  • Confirm loan commitments, interest payments, and fee payments.
  • Handle periodic rate adjustments, rollovers, advances, collateral management, invoicing, repayments, and other inquiries related to loan agreements.
  • Conduct report monitoring and reconciliations.
  • Provide training to the team on diverse procedures, policies, and processes.
  • Exercise supervisory oversight on various operational processes.
  • Input wire instructions while adhering to dual control protocols.
  • Analyze and resolve operational challenges.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects for new processes or industry initiatives.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word.
  • Professional demeanor, confident, and client-focused.
  • Risk-aware with the ability to identify issues and escalate them appropriately.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and collaborate effectively within a team environment while maintaining focus on business objectives.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to engage positively with all levels of management and colleagues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of multitasking and adjusting priorities swiftly.
