Job Title: Retail Operations Supervisor

At The Cannabist Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our dispensary management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our retail facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily dispensary operations, including patient registration, product inventory management, and point-of-sale transactions.
  • Provide guidance and support to dispensary staff, including training and development programs to ensure excellent customer service and product knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including HIPAA and Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program rules.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving new products, and maintaining accurate records using Dutchie POS.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies and goals.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail or customer-facing role, preferably in the cannabis industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
