Overview

The Director of Finance plays a crucial role in the strategic and operational management of the organization's financial activities. This position entails overseeing and evaluating accounting functions, which encompass payroll, revenue management, financial audits, compliance, and additional responsibilities.

The Director is accountable for reporting financial outcomes to the CEO and the board of directors, as well as collaborating with leadership and accounting personnel to formulate the annual budget. Furthermore, the Director monitors key performance indicators to ensure the organization possesses the necessary data and benchmarks to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in accounting or financial operations.
  • Experience in financial management within a non-profit setting is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and a willingness to utilize personal transportation for work-related duties.
