Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant I to join our team at Truong Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our healthcare services, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per yearKey Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Duties:
  1. Exhibit outstanding customer service and professionalism to internal and external patients.
  2. Operate a multi-line phone system, direct calls, take messages, and relay them appropriately and in a timely manner.
  3. Knowledgeable of all doctor's services, including trigger point injection, blood draws, and sterile procedure setup.
  4. Closely work with the doctor on prepping patients and reviewing after-care instructions.
  5. Bring patients in and update their electronic medical records.
  6. Follow up with patients by phone or email.
  7. Respond to messages and emails professionally and in a timely manner.
  8. Check in patients, verify their accounts are accurate and current, and ensure the office area is clean and tidy.
  9. Maintain inventory of clinical supplies.
  10. Schedule appointments and consults with referrals daily.
  11. Scan documents and perform other administrative tasks as needed.
  12. Assist with opening and closing the practice.
