**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-friendly Patient Service Specialist (Medical Front Office Receptionist) to join our team in Terrell, TX. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Process patients for discharge, including preparing charges, collecting payment, and issuing receipts.
  • Monitor patient flow and keep patients and families informed of wait times.
  • Provide quality customer service and treat patients with respect and dignity.
  • Ensure the clinic and front reception area are running smoothly.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Typing and computer proficiency in Windows-based software.
  • Ability to multi-task, provide quality customer service, prioritize, and think critically in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Medical Administrative Assistant Certificate or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working in registration or front office in a physician's office, hospital emergency department, and/or urgent care setting.
