Key Responsibilities

The Acute Care Registered Nurse plays a critical role in collaborating with patients, their families, and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care. Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the care and treatment of assigned patients.
  • Facilitating efficient patient care processes, including assessments and preparations for examinations.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting care provided.
  • Administering medications as prescribed and educating patients and families on treatment plans.
  • Handling incoming communications and performing triage as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the practicing state or possession of a Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from an accredited organization.
