Key Responsibilities
As a Float Pool Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with patients, their families, and healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment strategies, ensuring optimal outcomes in Med Surg and ICU settings. Your role will include:
- Maintaining accountability for assigned patients.
- Understanding critical illness management and responding to emergencies.
- Facilitating patient flow and providing essential nursing care.
- Educating patients and families on treatment and medication.
- Documenting patient records and managing medication administration.
- Ensuring supply availability and managing communication effectively.
Qualifications Required
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's Degree or higher.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of two years of full-time Acute Care RN experience; less experience may require approval.
