Key Responsibilities:
  1. Infrastructure Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT infrastructure strategy that aligns with the agency's business objectives.
  2. Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership to create and maintain a positive work environment and culture for the IT staff. Lead the planning and execution of infrastructure projects, including data center operations, network architecture, server management, and cloud computing.
  3. Technology Evaluation and Recommendation: Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that enhance system performance, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
  4. IT Governance and Risk Management: Provide leadership and oversight for proper internal IT controls to safeguard systems and data. Assess, plan, and remediate IT risks for infrastructure, applications, and data.
  5. Infrastructure Operations Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the IT infrastructure team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  6. Security and Compliance: Ensure that the IT infrastructure meets all relevant security standards and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect the agency's data and systems from internal and external threats.
  7. Vendor and Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet organizational priorities.
  8. Innovation and Technology Advancement: Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, and assess their potential impact on the organization's infrastructure. Drive the adoption of new technologies and processes that enhance infrastructure efficiency, scalability, and performance.
Essential Competencies:
  • Coordination & Collaboration: Accessible & Available, Evidenced Based, Person-Centered Care, Family-Driven Care, Recovery Oriented, Trauma Informed, Data Driven, Co-Occurring Capable, Culturally Competent
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Desire and ability to remain up-to-date on the latest developments and trends happening within the IT industry. Experience with mergers and acquisitions is strongly preferred. Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, hardware, software, and network communication protocols including problem solving skills related to data processing systems and equipment.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred.
