Job Opportunity

Ground Water Treatment & Technology, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Project Manager to join our Construction Field Services division.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in planning and executing projects for a company. They will work closely with the Project Manager to identify clients' or stakeholders' project needs and goals, create a detailed plan to successfully complete a project, and organize and store project reports and documents.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with project RFP reviews and proposal submissions.
  • Preparing project status reports and draft invoices.
  • Assisting with sourcing subcontractors and vendors.
  • Preparing subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Assisting with development of project schedules.
  • Oversight to ensure work adheres to contract specifications.
  • Creation and execution of project work plans.
  • Management of project costs, in coordination with Project Accounting staff.
  • Providing support to the Project Manager and Team with other duties, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Studies/Engineering or Business preferred, but not required.
  • 5 years of experience required.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification.
  • Familiarity and adherence to environmental and safety compliance regulations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Above average computer, reading, mathematical, and scientific skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, direct, train, and assign duties to subordinates.
