Job Overview

BAE Systems is on the lookout for a Manufacturing Surveillance Engineer to enhance our Systems Acquisition support team, comprised of a diverse group of engineers. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on a sophisticated radar and computer system essential for national defense.

The successful candidate will engage in supporting the manufacturing, production, integration, and testing processes at the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with AWS equipment requirements throughout manufacturing, installation, testing, and delivery phases.
  • Provide technical and engineering oversight for assembly, production, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), and acceptance of AWS equipment.
  • Coordinate activities related to Production Test Centers (PTCs), Production Test Facility (PTF), and AEGIS Ashore (AA) equipment, ensuring proper installation, verification, and resolution of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) anomalies.
  • Maintain an Equipment Tracking System (ETS) database using the AEGIS Technical Representative Analysis and Information Navigator (TRAIN).

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Systems, or Industrial Engineering, or have relevant military experience.

Experience in manufacturing processes and testing for military systems is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following skills will be given preferential consideration:

  • Experience with AEGIS Combat Systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply Microsoft Office tools in educational or professional settings.
  • A proactive self-starter with experience in collaborative team environments.

Compensation and Benefits

The full-time salary range for this position is $105,050. Individual salaries are determined by various factors, including business considerations, local market conditions, and candidate qualifications.
