Bilingual Home Visitor

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Bilingual Home Visitor to provide comprehensive, long-term home-visiting services to high-risk first-time parents and families with young children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess infant/child and family needs, develop goals, and provide services aligned with the strengths and needs of the child and family.
  • Meet regularly with families in their homes to complete assessments, develop goals, and provide services.
  • Provide observations of parent-child interactions, including assessing for effective communication and empathic responses.
  • Assist parents in forming community connections aligned with service goals, including referral and linkage with providers of early intervention, mental health, health care, and other supportive services.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Social Work, Child Development, or a closely related field; Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • One year of experience working with families with children under the age of 5 required.
  • Adept at communicating effectively both in writing and verbally. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a required.

Benefits:

Work Environment:

  • Hybrid (remote/in office); may have the opportunity to work remotely from a home or assigned office between visits.
