Make a difference in the lives of vulnerable patients Promise is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing affordable and accessible high-quality health care services to the medically underserved of greater Champaign County. Promise Healthcare has a community health center in Champaign, Illinois and clinics on Bloomington Road and Neil Street in Champaign and school-based clinics in Urbana and Rantoul.

Minimum Qualifications:

Superior verbal and written communication skills. At least 5 years of clinical work with 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience preferably in an FQHC. Previous experience with Federal & State grants and financial management strongly preferred. Experience working with substance use disorders is required. Travel between clinics required. Computer skills & proficiency with Microsoft Office are required. Experience working with Electronic Health Records systems (NextGen) helpful.

Physical setting: This position is eligible for hybrid (remote/onsite) and telecommute as defined by hiring manager.

Hours/Schedule: This is a working position, up to 30 hours per week.

COVID-19/Flu considerations: Must be COVID and Flu Vaccinated, willing to become vaccinated, or willing to wear a mask if on-site during Upper Respiratory Season (approximately Oct. 1st through Mar 1st).

Education/License/Certification: Professional degree and credential LCSW required; and current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice the profession.

Bilingual in Spanish is preferred

Promise has deep roots in Champaign's underserved communities and serves a diverse population. Approximately 30% of our patients are Spanish speaking. Champaign-Urbana is a growing, diverse community of 195,000 residents and home to the Big-Ten University of Illinois. Champaign-Urbana is located between Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis. Champaign is 2.3 hours from the Chicago O'Hare International Airport with daily train transportation.
