The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is pivotal in driving revenue growth for TikTok, encompassing various functions such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, Account Management, and Partnerships.

About the Team

The SMB team at TikTok is dedicated to empowering businesses of all sizes to express their creativity and connect with audiences. We design scalable sales and service programs while ensuring our clients have access to top-tier tools and products.

We are in search of an experienced professional in acquisition strategy and operations to spearhead key cross-functional initiatives on a global scale.

This role will collaborate with various partners, including Monetization Strategy, Finance, Data Science, Product, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure optimal outcomes in goal-setting, measurement, creativity, and conversion.

Additionally, this position will liaise with regional teams to share and implement key results globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Monetization Strategy and Finance to align with overarching business objectives, focusing on acquiring new SMB advertisers and driving revenue growth.
  • Lead the global acquisition strategy for SMB advertisers, identifying growth opportunities through customer insights and product data. Work with regional teams to initiate, test, and scale programs to meet business objectives.
  • Develop regional/channel forecasts and budget plans to achieve revenue and ROI targets, ensuring precise budget management.
  • Create measurement frameworks (such as attribution and incrementality) and establish KPIs in partnership with Product Management and Data Science.
  • Conduct internal operations reviews to evaluate business health, present critical insights, and facilitate swift decision-making and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (including Product Management, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Research & Development) to prioritize projects and standardize processes.
Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in acquisition strategy, business operations, consulting, investment banking, or related analytical roles, with a preference for B2B/SMB experience.
  • Proven experience in international growth initiatives, with knowledge of paid media, growth marketing, and product operations.
  • A successful track record in achieving performance and ROI objectives, demonstrating strong customer insights and business acumen.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and analytical capabilities.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to gain buy-in from leadership and key stakeholders while delivering projects on time and with high quality.

  • In-depth understanding of growth and optimization strategies, including best practices such as A/B testing and incrementality.
  • Quick learner with sound judgment and innovative thinking.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and adapt swiftly to change.
