About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team at Providence St Vincent Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in neurology and critical care, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients with neurological disorders
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire - if practicing within this state
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire
  • One (1) year Nursing experience
