Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Customer Service Representative to join our team at Ascentec Engineering, LLC. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for synchronizing our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system with the customer portal, coordinating job movement within production to align with customer needs and expectations, and scheduling orders within different groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and update daily schedules for resource groups to ensure efficient production and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the customer portal to align customer needs with orders within our ERP system, ensuring seamless communication and timely delivery.
  • Interact with production departments to expedite or de-expedite customer requirements, ensuring that orders are fulfilled on time.
  • Communicate schedule improvements or delays to customers through reports and customer portals, maintaining transparency and trust.
  • Coordinate work orders in process, ensuring that all acknowledged and confirmed POs are delivered on time.
  • Identify and communicate discrepancies and potential schedule misses to customers, resolving issues promptly.
  • Support the overall health and improvement of our ERP system, ensuring that it remains efficient and effective.
  • Collaborate with the Material Review Board (MRB) process to address internal and supplier quality issues, ensuring that products meet customer expectations.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition of new products into production.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Supply and Logistics Management is preferred.
  • One year of experience in production, scheduling, or customer service.
  • Ability to perform complex problem-solving and possess strong analytical, statistical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced experience with MS Excel and MS Word is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with senior management and production teams.
  • Self-motivation, initiative, and a professional demeanor are essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of Epicor ERP or equivalent advanced knowledge of a comparable ERP software is preferred.
