About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Purchasing Manager to support the construction of a multiphase data center. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic procurement of electrical commodities, including the development of Bills of Material and the management of vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project purchasing and delivery plans to meet job-specific needs and requirements
  • Collaborate with the General Foreman to develop Bills of Material and interface with suppliers on a weekly basis
  • Execute site purchasing programs, including onsite consignments, hold for release packages, and kitting
  • Track, expedite, and report on all material coming to site, and issue accurate purchase orders
  • Assist the Accounts Payable Team with discrepancies and generate reports to assist with cleaning up outstanding commitments
About You

You will have a natural ability to identify and drive cost reduction opportunities, possess technical competency in construction equipment, and have a good understanding of the dynamics of the industry. You will also bring a wide range of skills, including excellent project management, facilitation, and communication skills, as well as experience exercising good business judgment and analytical thinking.
