Senior Financial Costing Analyst

CONMED Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Costing Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial accounting data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile miscellaneous balance sheet accounts and manage the cycle count process and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with sales force personnel about demonstration/evaluation equipment.
  • Track and reconcile field equipment and corresponding accounts.
  • Calculate new standard costs during the year.
  • Add and update vendor data in the A/P system.
  • Assist internal and external auditors.
  • Regularly review and ensure the accuracy of inventory/material transactions.
  • Assist in the training of material handlers.
  • Analyze and close all work orders.
  • Perform various month-end closing tasks such as reconciling all cost of good transactions, no charge shipments, scrap, and journalizing depreciation expense.
  • Reconcile and manage fixed asset addition/deletion transactions for both internal and statutory purposes.
  • Calculate Budget information on Fixed Asset amortization.
  • Input router and raw material cost changes for budgeting purposes.
  • Provide corporate finance personnel with an AFE schedule (New fixed assets status) on a quarterly basis.
  • Provide P.O. commitment information for the 10K.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • 2 years of accounting and/or cost accounting experience required.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint strongly preferred.
    • Experience with SQL is preferred.
    • Knowledge of MANMAN or another ERP system preferred.
