Job Title: Electrical Project Director

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Electrical Project Director to lead our large-scale commercial electrical projects in Jonesboro, AR.

About the Job

The successful candidate will have a background in overseeing large-scale commercial electrical projects and a proven track record of managing and coordinating projects from conception to completion. This is a pivotal role that requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements for large-scale commercial electrical projects.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring all members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and effective communication to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure project satisfaction.
  • Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance, ensuring projects are completed within budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to allocate resources effectively, optimizing efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee the implementation of quality control measures, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and project specifications.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Monitor project timelines, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the electrical field, managing large scale commercial projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve project-related challenges.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
