Role Summary

The Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who is highly organized and capable of working both independently and collaboratively. The role offers a balanced work-life environment with consistent hours and flexibility.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Sales Recognition and Purchase Recognition processes.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring timely payment applications, assisting in collections, and generating invoices as needed.
  • Handle Accounts Payable by assembling, reviewing, and verifying invoices, as well as reconciling accounts payable transactions.
  • Administer Sales Commissions for Representatives and Distributors.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain asset management and perform Inventory/COGS analysis.
  • Assist in managing the full cycle of month-end and quarter-end close processes, including bank reconciliation, journal entries, general ledger adjustments, and financial reporting.
  • Support Sales and Use Tax filings.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, conducting research, and generating reports.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Master's degree in Accounting is preferred.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Solid understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Experience with ERP software is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred.
  • Exemplary work ethic, including a commitment to meeting deadlines, especially during peak periods.
  • Experience with a Korean-based company is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Korean is highly desired.
